I graduated the master course in 2015 from University of Tokyo and am working in a Japanese company now. MEM program (now called IME) gave me an opportunity to come to Japan without worrying about the tedious paperwork. There is also a tutor appointed to each student to help with the initial registrations such as bank account, mobile phone etc. The staff at MEM office was always welcoming to help and give suggestions, moreover free Japanese classes helped to make life easier in Japan.
Even after graduation I have good relations with my supervisor, lab members and often have chance to meet them. Japan is a place where you will have a once in life time research and living experience, Todai and MEM make it so much easier so I highly recommend it to everyone.
