Hi everyone, I am Xiaojie Lin, currently working as a Research Associate at the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Washington, Seattle. I received my M.S degree (2011) and Ph.D degree (2014) in Materials Engineering from The University of Tokyo (UT) in Japan under the guidance of Prof. Kazuhiko Ishihara. I continued my research as Specialist for Academic Affairs in UT until Mar. 2016.
IME program in UT provides international student a platform for discovering new culture, exploring novel technology and making friends from all over the world. I really enjoy the study in UT and benefit a lot through IME program. Staff in IME program always kindly help students as much as they can. They arrange various parties and study tours each year to give us many opportunities for learning Japanese culture. Faculties in IME program are also top professional in Japan. I would also appreciate my supervisor and friends in UT for their kind encouragement and guidance. Studying in UT through IME program is a very memorable and valuable experience in my life.
Advocate excellence, pursue superexcellence, transcend ourselves. In IME program, you will have a variety of learning perspectives from international talents. I strongly recommend that you apply for this program and take advantage of honors and advanced courses offered at this top public university in Japan.
